Difficult choice again on this one. Been doing some casual browsing of some other community forums and absorbing some of the information on the main WAR site. I narrowed my choices down to the black orc or the chaos chosen. The chosen seems to be the most common of the two and in the end the size and design of the Black Orc really won me over. In conclusion, black orc.

Playing Hours - The amount of hours per week you spend on (any game) and will this change for WAR?

Currently playing for about 15 - 20 hours a week mostly due to my girlfriend, lack of games and my old community. This will most definatly change upon the release of WAR.

Past Gaming Experience (Please note that we may ask questions about said game to check credibility)

Held the position of RDA (Roleplay Department Advisor) at a community of over 2000 members. RDA being a position of which there were 5 within the community, second only to the leader of the community. The community can be found here:


It's a half life 2 roleplaying community, been there for over a year now, met alot of people and was holding down upwards of 60 hours a fortnight in my prime.

Before that I've led a guild in guild wars, the guild [any] now owning one of the two faction capital cities with an alliance of almost 1000 members.

Also I've played Lord of the Rings online on and off since beta... lack of PvP content made me quit.

Past Guilds and if you have held any place of power in a Guild (any proof of this will greatly help)

How you will help Unleashed, both outside and inside guild. I.e. Website help, helping players outside Unleashed etc.

I think I'm a fairly generous person, always collecting materials for other people, giving out items and money were needed. I enjoy helping others with missions, quests whatever really. I've seen my fair share of E-drama... roleplay communities... *Shudders* and have really become the gameer who wants to get the most out of what I decide to play.

Reasons for joining Unleashed

Really wanting to start strong in WAR, love playing as part of a guild and you guys seem to be really organised and fun. Really keen on getting into the end PvP side of the game as this seems to be tailored exactly to the needs and wants of the large portion of the community including myself and you guys seem to be a group on board with that.

How long you plan on playing WAR

As long as it takes for me to have gotten as much our of the game as I can.

Access to Ventrilo and a mic?

Been using vent for 2 years, currently dropping into a vent of my old community on a daily basis.

A personal statement - tell us about yourself (Note that this is a very important part of your application)

My name's Rick Vitelli, I'm 17, 18 in July. Heading out to Greece in two days. I've done really well in school so far and have played rugby on a county level since I was 10. Me and my girlfriend have been together for almost 5 months. My position in TnB allowed me and a few others to activly shape the gamemode and enviroment giving me alot of power. I was always seen as one of the most approachable, helpful RDA's and really did some good for the community, dragging us through alot of the hard times including some legal trouble. Since then we have amassed a total of over $4000 of donations and over 2000 members. The community experienced a large ammount of e-drama which I and others have delt with accordingly including legal, financial issues regarding a breach in copyright we were accused of and many other issues with server hosts and arguments between players.

Have you pre-ordered the WAR CE and will you be playing in the 'Open Beta' with us?

Unfortunatly not, it seems I've left it to late and so won't be able to participate in the beta.

Computer specs and Internet connection

Internet connection is.. reliable, download speed is a little slow. My computer specs meet the recommended requirments on all test I have partaken in for WAR.

Normally by ventrillo or just a pm over the forum would be a great way to get in contact with me. I normally check the forums on a daily basis.

How much will it change?

Yea play hours when WAR is released shouldn't be a problem. I can get MSN if it's needed.

If you can live up to the guild standards then you should be fine...

Hello RickV, nice to see a Black Orc applying!
Aslong as you´re dedicated you shouold beable to put down atleast thoose hours. Alot of us have girlfriends and "normal" jobs. In the end we´ll spend nights etc. to keep it up. Though at gamestart expect alot more then 40 hours/week.

And 6 hours a day is what we require as a minimum, not on avarage.

Yea having had a sample of the replies this group seems a little too hardcore for me
