SE codes question

Firstly i want to appologise for hijacking your forums as a none guild member but i thought this would be a good place to ask this question as there is likely to be a high number of people here who have ordered the SE box set from Play UK.

Ordered mine just after the announcement and still havent got Pre Order codes for open beta etc. I am not 2 worried as we are a ways of open beta yet its just that quite a few people on various boards seem to have their codes already. I have phoned PLAY few times and latest news was that they had had an email stating that all codes where due to go out t the end of May. I am still awating news from their promotions dept about wether this deadline was kept.

Anybody recieved codes yet or know anything further? Im sorry if this mirrors a thread already in the forums but i dont have full access as non member.

Play.com has not yet sent out the codes as far as I know. Most of the UK members have ordered from Play.com. I think all of the Swedish shops have sent their codes that could be your explanation for people already receiving their codes. No need to worry, I think.

afaik no one that ordered the CE from PLAY has gotten thier codes yet.. my guess is theyäll send em "soon", whenever that may be lol, or when theres any news about the OB. a date or at least a month in which it'll open.

the ppl that have gotten their codes didnt order from PLAY. everyone in sweden for example got theirs early april, so my guess the ones saying they got theirs is from sweden or any other country that already sent them

you can however, if you're worried, check and confirm you have the CE ordered, as one of our members somehow lost his order of the CE from PLAY I havent heard anyone elses order got deleted tho so i guess its just a fuck up on PLAYs part heh

thanks for that, has stopped me worrying. I have been told i should get an official reply from play within a week so ill post it on here if its not a generic, "soon" msg

what worries me tbh is the fact that PLAY is still selling CE WAR packs, this either means they´ve got plenty of codes to go around (unlikely seeing as britain gets 10,000 I think) or that they´re gonna give a few people a nice big backhander when the codes do get sent out...take the 50 quid and say that they had over ordered codes or summit

play stopped taking orders like a week ago unless they changed the page again there was no way to click buy on the page there was no button xD

latest random message fvrom play i heard was "a week before beta as thats when the suppliers told us to do so" which is all billy bollocks since every other place has there codes, even hmv got there codes so it aint just uk

Yeh that was just bullshit from Play.com, I wounder why they are acting like this, their reability must really go down alot. I know I would never again order from a place like that...
Thank god I live in Sweden and got my code 2 days after ordering...
Damn enoying I found them in an store for 16$ later on though (only the codepack though).

I mean.. here in Sweden, from both the sites I pre-ordered I got my codes the 10th of april so...

Its worth also taking a few screenshots of your placed order just in case they try to pull a 'LOL NEVER HAPPENED' situation with you as well.
Also waiting for mine from Play.com......

yeah, i still have confirmation e-mail from play but will never order nething from them again...just very untrustworthy and i have no confidence in them tbh

i've got a question about this thing, the matter is that I already have a beta account, (everytime there is a patch they delete my chars ), but i can play, and i dont know if this is enough to play the open beta. As things are now, in Spain theres no access to the Collectors edition, not Inet, neither in stores, i've answered in every shop i know, and still theres nothing. If any of u know something plz tell me

ah your on the closed beta like myself, iirc those of us with closed beta access automatically get into the open beta, im not 100% on this but I remember it being talked about a while ago on the forum
